We are seeking a detail-oriented Millworker with experience in architectural millwork. This role involves crafting custom wood components and cabinetry for luxury homes, working from detailed shop drawings and plans, and ensuring the highest level of fit and finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate custom residential millwork items, including but not limited to, stile and rail doors, fire rated doors, architectural moldings, wall paneling, and custom one-off items.
- Read and interpret shop drawings and stock lists
- Operate woodworking machinery and equipment such as table saws, jointers, planers, sanders, and routers
- Assemble millwork components with precision and attention to detail
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform quality checks throughout the fabrication process
- Collaborate with shop leads and production management to meet deadlines and design intent
Qualifications
- 2-5+ years of experience in millwork, preferably in the residential market
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, joinery, and finishing standards
- Ability to read and work from shop drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with hardwoods, veneers, and engineered wood products
- Experience operating a variety of woodworking machinery and hand tools
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
- CNC experience is a plus, but not required
